Plagiarism and Research Misconduct

EJNPH is committed to maintaining originality, research integrity, and responsible scholarly publishing.

Authors must submit original work and appropriately acknowledge all sources. Plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, duplicate publication, and other forms of research or publication misconduct are not acceptable.

EJNPH may use plagiarism or similarity-checking tools as part of editorial assessment or peer review. Similarity results are assessed in context and do not alone establish plagiarism.

Suspected plagiarism or research misconduct will be assessed by the Editor or Editor-in-Chief. Authors may be asked to provide clarification or supporting information.

Depending on the circumstances, editorial action may include rejection, correction, expression of concern, or retraction of a published article.

Serious or unresolved concerns may be referred to the relevant institution, ethics committee, funder, or other appropriate authority where necessary.

Authors are expected to cooperate with research-integrity investigations and provide accurate information throughout the publication process.
