Peer Review

EJNPH is a peer-reviewed journal. Manuscripts that pass the initial editorial assessment are normally evaluated through double-anonymous peer review by at least two independent reviewers with appropriate subject expertise.

The identities of authors and reviewers are kept confidential during the peer-review process.

Reviewers assess manuscripts for originality, methodological quality, relevance, ethical standards, clarity, and overall scholarly quality.

The Editor or Editor-in-Chief makes the final editorial decision after considering the reviewers' comments and the overall suitability of the manuscript.

Possible decisions include:

  • Accept
  • Minor Revision
  • Major Revision
  • Reject

Reviewers must maintain confidentiality and disclose any potential conflict of interest. Manuscripts may be rejected without external review when they are outside the journal's scope or have substantial scientific, methodological, or ethical concerns.
