Correction, Retraction and Expression of Concern

EJNPH is committed to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the published scholarly record.

When a published article contains a significant error or omission, EJNPH may publish an appropriate correction or amendment. Corrections will clearly identify the affected article and describe the necessary changes.

A published article may be retracted when there is reliable evidence of serious problems affecting the validity, integrity, or ethical acceptability of the work.

An Expression of Concern may be issued when there is a substantial unresolved concern about a published article but the available information is insufficient to make a final determination.

Corrections, retractions, and expressions of concern will be clearly identified and linked to the affected article where appropriate.

Editorial decisions concerning corrections or retractions will be made by the Editor or Editor-in-Chief based on the available evidence and relevant publication-ethics considerations.
